Looking to Centre Your Career in Health?
Consider Early Entry at UOW!
At the University of Wollongong we recognise that your ATAR is not the only indication of your aptitude to excel at University level. If you are interested in or passionate about a career in health, we encourage you to apply for Early Entry at UOW.
The Early Entry Program allows current Year 12 students to apply for early acceptance into the following Faculty of Health & Behavioural Sciences courses and, if successful, receive a guaranteed or conditional offer PRIOR to sitting the HSC:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Bachelor of Public Health
- Bachelor of Health Science in Indigenous Health Studies
Entry is based on:
- Academic Record (including Trial HSC results)
- CV - achievements, employment history, extracurricular activities and interests such as educational, voluntary, sporting, musical and leadership activities
- An interview (for Bachelor of Health Science in Indigenous Health Studies applicants only)
Please note that successful applicants will still need to apply for University entry through the Universities Admission Centre (UAC). The relevant course needs to be the highest eligible preference on your UAC application in order to activate your Early Entry Offer.
Applications open on the 1st July 2009 and close on the
18th September 2009.
