Lance Barrie
BSc (Population Health), MPH (Distinction)
Lance has been with CHI since 2007 as a casual research assistant and is now currently employed on a full time basis. He has worked on several projects including; running focus groups regarding alcohol labelling and its implications for drinking behaviour, the 2007 National Breast and Ovarian Cancer survey, evaluating components of the Snake Condom Campaign and also reviewing the literature on a range of topics such as university student’s activity levels and also the effectiveness of online vs paper based surveys. He has also worked for the Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity (CEPHRIS), for which he conducted a literature review regarding the role of hospitalists in an Australian health care setting. His research interests include alcohol related behaviour and young people and individual behaviour change.
