Sandra is the Director of the Centre for Health Initiatives. Her teaching and research interests include:
- Alcohol advertising and marketing
- Influence of mass media on health behaviours
- Social marketing
- Health behaviour change
- Perception of cancer risk, screening and treatment
- Behavioural decision theory applied to lifestyle choice
