About the Facility

The Anatomy laboratory was constructed in 1992 and commenced operations in 1992, facilitating students of Biomedical Science, Education and Nursing in their pursuit of anatomical knowledge. Course subjects utilising the anatomy laboratory deliver content ranging from the fundamental scientific basis of human form and function to the intricate web of movement control strategies. The laboratory houses two teaching areas, one large open plan area catering for 55 students participating in both wet and dry practicals, and one tutorial room seating 20 students in an informal classroom setting. The tutorial room houses 7 PC’s with web access. The main lab area has audiovisual projection facilities and has multiple computer facilities for individual/small group multimedia presentations.
