Course description
The Faculty aims to provide a legal education which equips students with a critical and questioning attitude, offers a broad perspective and provides the foundation for a career in an extensive range of legal work. This program enables students to apply this knowledge in the context of a major legal research project in their final year of study.

Course Requirements
Students who enrol in the Bachelor of Laws Honours by Research, must complete the following:
a) all compulsory Law subjects in the sequence set out in the relevant Course Program;
b) elective subjects to the value of 40 credit points from the Bachelor of Laws Elective Law Schedule;
c) the subject LLB448 Research Honours in Law.
The Honours grade will be calculated in accordance with Method 1 referred to in the University's General Course Rules (8.37) that is based entirely on performance in 400 level subjects.
