Overview

This course is designed for graduates seeking an introductory course in the field of Information Systems. The course is specifically designed for, and restricted to, those students who hold University qualifications in areas not related to the field of Information Systems.

Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge

A degree equivalent to a three-year Australian Bachelor degree in an area other than Information and Communication Technology, i.e. not a degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Applicants with other professional or academic qualifications not related to Information and Communication Technology, plus a minimum of two (2) years full-time work experience (or part-time equivalent) in the Information and Communication Technology industry, may be considered by the Faculty.

Advanced Standing

Students performing at a satisfactory level in the Graduate Certificate may be permitted to continue with the Graduate Diploma in Information Systems with up to 24 credit points of specified credit.
