Overview

The Master of International Studies (Advanced) is an interdisciplinary coursework degree grounded in theoretical and professional perspectives. The course seeks to explain, debate, critically analyse and apply key concepts and ideas in international studies to give its graduates a strong understanding of the dynamics of internationalisation and globalisation. It includes either a supervised research thesis or an internship. The thesis will qualify students for further research at postgraduate level. The internship provides graduates with professional experience in the field of international studies. Supervision of the research thesis and placement for the internship will be negotiated with the program coordinator.
