Overview
The Master of Arts - Research is a specialised research degree for students who are not professionally qualified educators but who wish to pursue research careers in education.
Entry Requirements
Entry is available to candidates with a Bachelors Honours degree; a Masters degree by coursework or a Bachelors degree by coursework (or equivalent) where a Distinction average has been maintained, or a Bachelors degree by coursework including additional research experience deemed appropriate by the Faculty of Education.
Course Requirements
The degree program will comprise up to 72 credit points of study including:
− research methods subjects to the value of 24 credit points including EDGZ924 - Research Proposal (6cp) and the remaining subjects chosen In consultation with supervisors and the Associate Dean, Research
− a thesis embodying the results of an investigation to the value of 48 credit points (THES912/924).
