Overview
The Master of Science (Nutrition/Dietetics and Exercise Rehabilitation) is designed to meet core fields of competency defined by the dietetics and exercise science professions, including key areas of clinical dietetics practice, community and public health nutrition, food service systems management, exercise prescription, exercise rehabilitation and clinical practicum studies.
Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge
A Bachelor degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition of at least 3 years duration from a recognised tertiary institution. Applicants with other undergraduate degree backgrounds may need to complete additional study prior to entry into this degree. Entry is highly competitive and specific subject pre-requisites must be met to be eligible to apply.
International students are required to have achieved an IELTS score of 6.5, with a level of at least 6 in all bands, reading and writing, speaking and listening.
Course Requirements
The Master of Science (Nutrition/Dietetics and Exercise Rehabilitation) is comprised of 104 credit points of subjects and can be taken as 2 years full-time or part-time equivalent.

Course Program
GHMA930 Community and Public Health Nutrition must also be completed if BMS310 is not passed in an undergraduate program.
Professional Recognition
The Master of Science (Nutrition/Dietetics and Exercise Rehabilitation) is designed to provide a dual qualification recognised by both the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and the Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science (AAESS). Such recognition will allow graduates to attain accreditation as both professional dietitians and exercise science practitioners.
