Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education)
Overview
Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) graduates may qualify for the award of Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) by completing a fourth year of study. The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) is designed to develop further the knowledge and skills acquired in the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education). Some subjects will be offered after 4.30 pm to allow students who are working during the day to take some of their course after school hours. Students who wish to attend university only in the evenings will need to enrol in the part-time mode.
Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge
The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) requires, as a pre-requisite, the successful completion of a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) or its equivalent. Entry is competitive and selection is based on overall academic achievement and performance in practical teaching experiences.
