Graduate Certificate in Literacy
Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Literacy is designed to provide
a specialist qualification in the area of Literacy Education
for teachers interested in qualifying in this area. This is offered
using online delivery methods.
Entry Requirements
Entry is available to candidates who satisfy the University's
entry requirements for Graduate Certificates (i.e. a three-year
degree or equivalent).
Advanced Standing
Students who wish to continue onto the MEd program will receive
24 credit points of advanced standing for subjects completed
in a Graduate Certificate program, provided the candidate has
not formally graduated with the Graduate Certificate award and
meets the normal Masters entry requirements. If the candidate
has formally received the Graduate Certificate, up to 16 credit
points of advanced standing will be granted towards the MEd.
