Master of Business Research

The Master of Business Research (MBR) is the research component of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program. The objectives of the subjects in the MBR are to build the advanced business research skills needed to complete effective research for the DBA.

Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge (Subject to approval from Academic Senate)

There is no entry into this program. The MBR will be awarded as an exit degree only from the DBA program.

Course Requirements

Students who do not achieve an average of at least 65 % in the coursework component of the DBA program, and an average of at least 65 % in TBS998 Proposal and Defence do not qualify to proceed with the thesis component of the DBA. These students will exit the DBA program and awarded a MBR degree.

Candidates are required to complete 4 subjects (48 cps) as prescribed below.
