Graduate Diploma in Science


Overview
This 32 credit point program provides candidates with the concepts and techniques of conservation ecology that are fundamental to effective forest management.

Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge
A relevant undergraduate degree of at least three years duration, or a similar tertiary qualification with relevant work experience.

Course Requirements
The program has two subject modules listed below. The first module is lecture and laboratory-based, and the second integrates theory with fieldwork in a range of locations in Eastern Australia.

Articulation
Students who have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate in Forest Conservation Management may progress to the Master of Science (Forest Conservation and Management) and will only be required to complete the Research Project.
