Master of Electronic Commerce
The course is designed to prepare managers for the Electronic Commerce
world. Many graduates would not have had exposure to electronic commerce
concepts and practices while taking their undergraduate studies. This
Masters program gives these graduates an opportunity to develop the skills
required to operate more effectively in an e-world. Businesses of all
sizes are now taking to the Internet and employees who have skills in
this area should find themselves well placed to take advantage of the
opportunities this new way of doing business will bring.
Entry Requirements
Applicants are required to have a three year Bachelor degree in computer
science, information technology, computer engineering, commerce, management
or a related discipline from an Australian university or a recognised
institution.
Students who do not have this qualification may be admitted to a 96 or
72 credit point program. Additional credit points will be comprised of
undergraduate and/or postgraduate subjects to ensure the students have
the prerequisite understanding to undertake the program
MEC Structure
After completion of two compulsory subjects, students must then complete
two subjects from the applied schedule and two subjects from the management
schedule with two elective subjects.
