Graduate Certificate in Information Systems
This one year part-time course is designed for graduates
from a recognised tertiary institution seeking an introductory
course in the field of information systems.
Specific entry requirements for the Certificate are:
- a University degree or equivalent;
- completion of at least the equivalent of one introductory
computer programming subject at tertiary level. Applicants
not meeting this requirement may do the Summer Session subject
BUSS111
- Business Programming I at this University prior to commencement.
The course is specifically designed for, and restricted to
those who hold qualifications in areas not related to the
discipline of information systems. Students performing at
a satisfactory level in the Graduate Certificate may be permitted
to continue with the Graduate Diploma in Information Systems
with up to 24 credit points of specified credit.
