Master of Computer Studies (MCompStud)

This course has been specifically designed to meet the demand for students with a bachelor degree outside the computing field to gain a master level qualification. The Master of Computer Studies shall be subject to the University Course Rules for the award of the degree of Masters, together with the following conditions:

1) Entry to the Master of Computer Studies will normally be from a three year undergraduate degree, with a grade average of at least 60%, from a recognised Australian university or institution of equivalent standing. In addition, international students must meet the University of Wollongongs English language entry requirements
2) For candidates who do not have knowledge or experience of C++, the course will usually be completed in three sessions (equivalent to 12 months). Candidates will commence in spring session (July) and will be required to study during summer session (December-February), as well as autumn session (March-June). As another alternative, the course may begin in March and take 2 sessions (autumn and spring session), if candidates already have knowledge or experience of C++.
