AIMS OF THE GRADUATE SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM
- To provide thorough training in vocational journalism
for graduates who want to develop professional skills with
a view to working in the news media industry.
- To give journalists with professional experience an opportunity
to acquire a postgraduate qualification and develop a specialist
area of interest.
- To stimulate research in the areas listed above.
FLEXIBLE DELIVERY
Some subjects in the Master of Journalism and the Graduate
Certificate in Multicultural Journalism are offered by flexible
delivery and students will be able to choose from hardcopy
materials, CD Rom and/or Online (WebCT). Students using CD
Rom will need to have access to a computer with a cross platform
capability and have Netscape and acrobat reader installed.
Off campus students will receive printed hardcopy materials
for all subjects (on offer) and for some subjects video materials
will also be provided. Both on ad off campus students will
be required to use email.
