To qualify for a major study in Economics in the Bachelor of Arts, students must complete successfully the following subjects:

Macroeconomic Theory and Policy

Microeconomic Theory and Policy

   

Provided that the Head of the Department of Economics may grant specified credit for any or all of these subjects upon evidence of completion, at a satisfactory standard of pass, of comparable subjects elsewhere.

Plus a further 8 credit points of 200-level subjects and 24 credit points of 300-level subjects from the list of subjects below.
