Course Requirements for the Masters by Research Degree

12.17 To qualify for award of a Masters by Research degree, a candidate shall accrue the required number of credit points by satisfactory completion of subjects specified in the Postgraduate Course Handbook and such examinations and other work as may be prescribed.

12.18 A Masters by Research degree course program shall comprise subjects having a value of 72 credit points at 900 level including:

a. a research thesis subject having a value of 48 credit points and

b. other coursework subjects having a value of 24 credit points at 900 level.
