Linda Corrin, Lecturer in Educational Development
Linda Corrin took up the role of Lecturer: Educational Development with the Graduate School of Medicine at the beginning of 2011, having previously held the role of Educational Technology Manager.
Linda completed a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology (Hon I) at the University of Wollongong (UOW) in 2001 before taking up the role of Associate Lecturer in the School of Information Systems. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2003. Later that year she moved to the UK where she worked in the role of Instructional Designer at Roehampton University (London). During her time at Roehampton she completed a Certificate in Online Education and Training (University of London - 2004) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (Roehampton University - 2005).
On returning to Australia in 2005 she held various elearning and educational development positions at UOW, University of New South Wales and The Learning Group (Sydney), before taking up the role of Educational Technology Manager at the GSM in 2009.
Linda is due to complete her PhD in 2012 which examines students learning through their use of technology. Her other research interests include adaptive learning, ePortfolios, Learning Content Management Systems, learning analytics, and online medical education.
