General Staff Development Advisory Committee

CONTENTS

Terms of Reference

The General Staff Development Advisory Committee shall:

  • review the results of the current Training Needs Analysis;
  • review the proposed content for the coming year training calendar and provide advice and recommendations;
  • review the Staff Training and Development Annual report;
  • review statistical reporting information which demonstrates training attendance and cost breakdown by gender, level, and faculty; and
  • discuss current career development issues impacting on general staff.

 Membership

The General Staff Development Advisory Committee shall consist of:
• Vice Principal Administration, who shall be Chairperson
• Director, Human Resources
• Manager, Professional and Organisational Development Services
• 1 Director
• 1 Dean
• Director, EED Unit
• 1 General Staff representative to Council
• 1 ITS representative
• 2 CPSU representatives
• 1 LHMU representative

  • The committee is to meet annually in March.
  • Staff developers representing providers on campus will attend the meeting to address agenda items when required.
