University Council Elections 2009

Voting Now Closed

Voting is now closed in the 2009 University Council Elections. In accordance with the University of Wollongong By-law 2005 the results of the 2009 University Council elections are as follows:

Mr Gareth Ward has been elected as a Graduate member of the University Council for a four year term from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2013;

Mr Saif AlSalumi has been elected as the Postgraduate Student member of the University Council for a two year term from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2011; and

Mr Christopher Whittaker has been elected as the Undergraduate Student member of the University Council for a two year term from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2011.

Professor Songping Zhu was the only nominee for election as a Academic Staff member of the University Council for a three year term from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2012 (voting was not required for this position).
