Elections in 2009

Elections will be held in September-October 2009 for the following positions on the University Council:

• 1 Academic Staff member
• 1 Postgraduate Student member
• 1 Undergraduate Student member
• 1 Graduate Member

Nominations

Nominations open on Tuesday 8 September 2009 and close on Tuesday 22 September 2009. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the links below:

• Postgraduate Student Nomination Form

Nominations will be accepted from 9.00am on 8 September 2009 to 5.00pm on 22 September 2009.

Nominations cannot be accepted outside the specified nominations period.

Voting

Voting will open on Tuesday 6 October and close on Tuesday 20 October.

Register to Vote in the Graduate Members’ Election

Apply here to register to vote in the election of the Graduate Members to the University Council. (Available from Monday 17 August)

Please note that, pursuant with the University of Wollongong By-Law (2005) section 15(6), UOW graduates who are current UOW staff members or current UOW students at the date designated for close of nominations (22 September 2009) are not eligible to vote in the Graduate Election.
