Dean’s Scholar Program
Perhaps you want to stand out from the crowd? Get a little more from your university experience.
The Dean’s Scholar Program provides an enriched educational experience for high-achieving students who want to set themselves apart. Students can generally fast-track their degree by taking second-year subjects in their first year, receiving academic mentoring and gaining privileged access to resources. The program is available to students in the faculties of:

- Designated study space and access to a computer, printer, telephone, locker and kitchen
- Book allowance
- Workshops and seminars
- Mentors and opportunities to attend social events with mentors
To apply, students must nominate the Dean’s Scholar degree as a UAC preference. Each Dean’s Scholar degree is treated as a program in its own right and has a unique UAC code.
The Dean’s Scholar Program is not offered in a double degree combination, nor is it a scholarship.
