Choosing the right residence to live in is an important part of your university experience. Living @ UOW have several residences that specifically cater for post graduate needs. All of the residences are managed by experienced Student Residence Managers who take an active interest in students’ well being.
Graduate House is located opposite the university and provides independent living for students and their families. Singles, couples and families live in the units here and enjoy the regular social activities and convenient location.
Gundi is a post graduate residence conveniently located in North Wollongong. Students live in units of 2 to 6 bedrooms and share kitchen and living areas. This self catered residence is for single students and accommodates up to 34 students.
Campus East has designated flexi catered and self catered units for post graduate students. Post graduate students staying here enjoy all the benefits of a large residence and can take advantage of some of the post graduate networking programs and activities.
Keiraview, Kooloobong, International House and Weerona College all welcome postgraduate students in their combined undergraduate and postgraduate community.

Other Options
Private rental: There are two styles of private rental properties: shared and single.
Occupants of shared accommodation usually divide household expenses such as telephone and electricity. UOW Accommodation Services can help students seeking private accommodation, and holds a database of available properties.
Approximate weekly rent:
- Unfurnished room: $120-170
- Furnished room: $135-$210
- Unfurnished apartment: $200-$350
- Unfurnished house: $300-$450
