Entry requirements

In order to gain entry into a Bachelor degree applicants must satisfy the academic entry requirements for their chosen course.

At UOW, we recognise numerous pathways that satisfy these requirements. Information on the pathways available can be found on the entry pathways page.

For more information on interstate or overseas equivalents, please contact UOW on 1300 367 869.

Additional application criteria

Entry to some UOW undergraduate courses requires a little extra work. The following courses have additional requirements that must be met in the application process.

Bachelor of Performance

Entry into the Bachelor of Performance and Theatre (Acting) is based on a combination of both academic results and audition scores. All applicants are required to audition to demonstrate their talents and potential to benefit from the course. For more information and to apply, visit the performance audition page.

English Language requirements

If you are a domestic student and English is not your first language, you are required to provide evidence of satisfying the University's English language requirements.

If you have completed an academic qualification conducted entirely in English within the last two years, in a country where English is the official language, you may meet the University’s English language requirements.
