2012 International Tuition Fees
The offer letter states the tuition fee payable per session for the first year of enrolment.
The university’s Tuition Fee Policy contains detailed information on payment requirements, including refund policy.
You can also view fees for English language and Foundation Studies and Diploma course scholarships offered by UOW College.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
All students on student visas are required to pay OSHC for the duration of their student visa. OSHC provides for medical and hospital cover for students and their dependants.
UOW’s preferred OSHC provider is Australian Health Management (AHM). Charges are approximately $380 per year for single cover and $1,600 per year for family cover; see the ahm Fees Schedule for further details.
Students undertaking short term study abroad or UOW College studies on other visa types (including tourist and working holiday visas) and student visa holders from Sweden and Norway are currently exempt from the requirement to obtain OSHC.
Living Expenses
In addition to tuition fees, a single student living in Wollongong will require $10,000 to $12,000 a year – depending on lifestyle – to cover accommodation, food, transport and other expenses including text books and study materials and entertainment.
