UNIVERSITY OF WOLLONGONG IN DUBAI
The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with a proud Australian heritage. UOWD was established in 1993, before being fully incorporated as an independent university in 2004 and is located in Knowledge Village, an educational precinct a short distance from the heart of the Dubai city.

UOW also offers its courses in a number of other countries in collaboration with our education partners.
UOW students in these locations have the option to complete the whole degree at the partner institution, or transfer to UOW in Australia to complete their degree. In either case, graduates receive a common testamur issued by the University of Wollongong.
UOW offers a number of its specialised postgraduate programs by distance education, with a particular strength in postgraduate TESOL studies.
For students who are already studying overseas, a number of course transfer and credit exemption options allow you to transfer and study at UOW in Australia.
