Question What do I do if I don’t have my trial results?

Answer If you do not have your trial results by your interview date, please bring your previous marks and let the interviewer know you will forward them as soon as possible.

Question Can I apply for more than one Early Entry program?

Answer Yes, you should apply for the areas that interest you. Double degrees are also available (if both degrees are offered through Early Entry).

Question Does each faculty require a separate application?

Answer Yes, because each faculty has different requirements. You should apply only for degrees you are genuinely interested in and have a passion for as you will need to demonstrate this in the application process.

Question When can I apply?

Answer: Applications open July 1 and close September 23. Applications for Creative Arts close August 29.

Question What does the interview involve?

Answer Early Entry interviews are a great opportunity to speak directly with faculty staff about your options and to find out more about UOW. It’s also a chance to demonstrate that you are interested and committed to studying in the particular faculty. Questions will be based on your interest in the course and the relevant subjects you have undertaken at school. Also be prepared to discuss your extra-curricular activities.

Question What if I live too far away to attend an interview?

Answer You may be offered a phone interview—please contact the relevant faculty to discuss your situation.

Question What if I don’t get Early Entry?

Answer You are at no disadvantage if you don’t receive an Early Entry offer. We encourage you to use the Early Entry process to ask us any questions you may have about university study or the University of Wollongong.

Question Why didn’t I gain Early Entry when my friend, who got the same trial mark as me, did?

Answer There are several factors that influence our decision on whether to grant an Early Entry offer, not solely trial marks.

Question Where can I find a Justice of the Peace (JP) to sign my documents?

Answer UOW’s Student Central has a JP service Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am–10am.
