Future Talk

Year 12 can be a particularly stressful time for students and family/carers. The pressure to succeed and make post-school decisions can be overwhelming for students and those who are trying to support them on their Year 12 journey. Future Talk is a series of online information sessions designed specifically for a student's support crew. If you're a parent or carer who is navigating the HSC with your child, we've got your back.

EmpowerHER STEM Summit (Senior)

  • UOW Wollongong campus and Bluescope site visit
  • 16-17 April 2024, 8 am to 4 pm
  • Female high school students in years 10-12

This is a two-day, hands-on event for female students in Years 10-12, inspiring the next generation of women in STEM by “Raising the STEM-bar for Girls”.

Performance & Theatre School Holiday Workshops

  • UOW Wollongong campus
  • 17-18 July 2024, 9.30 am to 2 pm
  • High school students in years 11-12

UOW is excited to introduce a new selection of school holiday workshops for any students with a passion for the performing arts. These workshops are led by award-winning playwright, screenwriter and UOW lecturer Mark Rogers, winner of Sydney Theatre Company's Patrick White Award. Two different workshops are available: Monologue Masterclass and Playwriting Masterclass.

  • Every Thursday during Term 2 of NSW school term
  • Wollongong campus
  • High school students in Year 11 and 12

UOW’s Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences are hosting free weekly drop-in sessions to assist you with your HSC studies on the Wollongong campus.
