Opportunity Program

 

Do you really want to study engineering at University, but are concerned that your UAI may not be high enough or you did not take sufficient maths or science at school? If so, the Faculty of Engineering is willing to give you the opportunity to prove that you have what it takes to become a professional engineer.

  • Flexible program to reduce annual study load

Who can benefit
Students wanting to study engineering who:

  • Expect to gain less than the UAI of 78
  • Are studying Mathematics or are not studying Physics or Chemistry for the HSC
  • Are seeking entry to a degree from TAFE

How you can take advantage of this program
If you are motivated and would like a chance to prove what you can really do, firstly apply through UAC for entry to the Bachelor of Engineering degree of your choice. The first round of interviews will be held during our early entry interviews and the second round of interviews will be held at the beginning of January.
