Web-based GIS Mapping
Geoscience Australia (GA) has been undertaking a Database Interoperability project investigating means by which spatial data bases can be linked and collectively queried. As a pilot project, Landslide Inventories developed at the University of Wollongong, and Mineral Resources Tasmania have been linked via the internet to GA's National Landslide Database. The web portal is in the early stages of development and can be found here:

Book Launch: Geotechnical Slope Analysis launched at University of Wollongong Bookshop, June 24th 2010
January 2010:
The new book Geotechnical Slope Analysis was published in January 2010 by CRC Press, Amsterdam and London. As of February 2010, 250 copies have been sold already!
