The Materials Process Engineering Group's research focuses on high temperature thermochemistry and process dynamics as well as materials characterisation.

This group has the expertise to exploit fundamental understanding of thermochemistry and process dynamics to model and analyse the progress of slag/metal interactions, reaction kinetics microstructural development and to conduct quantitative analysis of materials processing.
