commercial development of the Australian industry in

| * Establishing interdisciplinary
research team for conducting high quality basic/generic research; |
| * Maintaining an awareness
of emerging science and technology in this field from around
the world; |
| * Promoting the commercialisation
of superconducting & electronic materials technology to sponsoring
companies; |
| * Enhancing the existing
strong, national and international links in the field; |
| * Contributing to the
education of high quality postgraduates and postdoctoral
fellows. |
