What You Should Do When You Arrive
Some important things that you should do upon your arrival include:
- formally enrol in your course at Administration (Building 36);
- meet the Faculty Director Postgraduate (Research) (see below);
- make initial contact with your supervisor;
- contact the Administrative Assistant in the Engineering Enquiries Centre about the allocation of office space and application for keys;
- be introduced, by your supervisor, to the relevant Laboratory Coordinator and Technical staff.
If you arrive during Orientation Week in late February, there will be a day set aside to welcome and introduce you to the University. This will include an inspection of the Faculty of Engineering.
A Library workshop will also be arranged early in Autumn Session. You will see the Librairan, Lucia Tome, at the Orientation Session. If you miss Orientation contact Lucia Tome for details.
