Conventional Single Slice Longwall
Upward Slicing
Downward Slicing (Non-Simultaneous)
Downward Slicing with artificial roof (Simultaneous)
Downward Slicing using intermediate coal or stoneband roof (Simultaneous)
Longwall Mining with sub-level caving methods ("Top Coal Caving")
