The 2011 NSW Presentation Evening was held last Friday 25th November at the University of Wollongong and the link to the full listing of the Major Awards, Recipients and Sponsors for the 6 NSW Competitions follows:

Important Note to Students and Teachers regarding Finalists and Folios

We would like to emphasise that every student whose work was selected and submitted to any of the 6 NSW Competitions in 2011, and did not receive a Major Award, is a Finalist in 2011. 

For the Year 11 Finalists, your certificate and $50 gift voucher will be sent to your teacher for presentation at the school. For Year 11 entries, any folios still at the University of Wollongong will be returned to your teacher.

For the Year 12 Finalists, your certificate and $50 gift voucher will be sent to your home address. For the Year 12, any folios still at the University of Wollongong will be returned to your home address, unless other arrangements are requested.

In 2011, the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Wollongong has organised six (6) Senior High Schools Technology Competitions in NSW and two (2) Senior College Technology Competitions in ACT. These are: 
 

* The NSW Year 11 Engineering Studies Competition  

* The NSW Year 12 Engineering Studies Competition  
 

* The NSW Year 11 Design & Technology Competition

* The NSW Year 12 Design & Technology Competition
 

* The NSW Year 11 Industrial Technology Competition

* The NSW Year 12 Industrial Technology Competition
 

* The ACT Year 11 Technology Competition

* The ACT Year 12 Technology Competition
 

All of these Competitions are based on work done by the students as part of their assessment.

 

In the case of the NSW Engineering Studies Competitions, schools are invited to submit Engineering Reports their students have worked on in either the Preliminary Course or the HSC Course.

 

In the case of the NSW Design & Technology Competitions, schools are invited to submit portfolios/products their students have worked on in either the Preliminary Course or the HSC Course.

 

In the case of the NSW Industrial Technology Competitions, schools are invited to submit folios/practical projects their students have worked on in either the Preliminary Course or the HSC Course.

In the case of the ACT Technology Competitions, schools are invited to submit portfolios or reports their students have worked on in Design and Technology, Information Technology, Automotive Studies, Engineering Science, Physics, Electronics or CAD Drawing.

 

All the major Awards and Prizes will be announced and presented at the Combined Presentation Evening on Friday, 11th November at the University of Wollongong.
