When you have completed the Registation process, please send your students' work by:

  • email to eng-highschoolcomps@uow.edu.au (with electronic file(s) attached) or
  • post to Dr. Bob Wheway, Faculty of Engineering, University of Wollongong, Northfields Avenue, Wollongong NSW 2522 or
  • hand deliver to Engineering Enquiries Centre (EEC), Building 4 at the University of Wollongong.

Please ensure that all items and emails sent are labelled with student name, competition details and registration number (e.g. John Smith, Yr11 D&T, 1521)

In 2012, the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Wollongong has organised six (6) Senior High Schools Technology Competitions in NSW and two (2) Senior College Technology Competitions in ACT. These are: 
 

* The NSW Year 11 Engineering Studies Competition  

* The NSW Year 12 Engineering Studies Competition  
 

In the case of the NSW Engineering Studies Competitions, schools are invited to submit Engineering Reports their students have worked on in either the Preliminary Course or the HSC Course.

 * The NSW Year 11 Design & Technology Competition

* The NSW Year 12 Design & Technology Competition
 

In the case of the NSW Design & Technology Competitions, schools are invited to submit portfolios/products their students have worked on in either the Preliminary Course or the HSC Course.

* The NSW Year 11 Industrial Technology Competition

* The NSW Year 12 Industrial Technology Competition
 
In the case of the NSW Industrial Technology Competitions, schools are invited to submit folios/practical projects their students have worked on in either the Preliminary Course or the HSC Course.

* The ACT Year 11 Technology Competition

* The ACT Year 12 Technology Competition

In the case of the ACT Technology Competitions, schools are invited to submit portfolios or reports their students have worked on in Design and Technology, Information Technology, Automotive Studies, Engineering Science, Physics, Electronics or CAD Drawing. 

All of these Competitions are based on work done by the students as part of their assessment. 

All the Major Awards and Prizes will be announced and presented at the Combined Presentation Evening on Friday, 23rd November 2012 at the University of Wollongong.
