Orientation and Enrolment
The beginning of every session start with Orientation and Enrolment, both of these are key to your University experience
Orientation - Australia has a "take care of yourself" culture, everyone is willing to point you in the right direction, but you will need take the action. Orientation is there to give you all the survival skills for your time studying in Australia, you will meet important contacts in your Faculty and from the Central Student support services. Orientation is also about creating your network, meeting people and getting advise, making your way around uni before the classes start.
Enrolment - At the University of Wollongong you will "self manage" your enrolment, this means you have to keep a track of enrolling in the right courses at the right time. Enrolment Day will Introduce you to how to enrol in your subjects. You will meet you Course Advisers, look at your courses and what you need to study, enrolment day also covers to University Rules and how to make changes to your pattern of study.
Welcome to Wollongong Festival 
This City of Wollongong Festival takes place during "O" Week of the Autumn session. The City of Wollongong is a multicultural city that welcomes all newcomers to our city, the festival is a chance for existing residents and new students to connect and celebrate our wonderful city. Conversation Group
The Faculty of Engineering provides additional support after you arrival to continue to improve you language skills. Conversation group in an informal group where local Australian students, and bi-lingual international students spend time helping you improve your English. It's a fun and friendly environment where we help you understand more about Australia and the finer points of the English language:
