“Global Education through WISE eyes”

Ian Brown, Associate Dean, Faculty of Education – was recently invited to the World Innovation Summit for Education on Dohar, Qatar. Hosted by Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nassar Al Missned and the Qatar Foundation, the summit addressed a number of issues with an ambitious goal to ‘create an international multi-disciplinary platform to shape education models of the 21st century’.

The Summit presented a forum, inviting recognized international education experts to debate with leading representatives from a variety of fields around the world, with the aim to develop cross-disciplinary partnerships by mobilising global networks.

Ian will present an issues seminar where the major themes of the Summit will be presented: Pluralism, Sustainability and Innovation.
