Governance and Structure

The Australian Centre for Educational Leadership is located
at the University of Wollongong, Northfields Avenue, Wollongong.

The Centre will be administered by a Director who will report
to the Dean of the University of Wollongong.

The Centre will have an Advisory Committee. The role of the
Advisory Committee will be to give advice in regard to the Centre’s
direction and policy.

The Advisory Committee will meet at least twice per year.

The Advisory Committee will consist of representatives from:
- The NSW Department of Education and Training
- The Catholic Education Office
- Independent schools
- NSW Primary Principals Association
- NSW Secondary Principals Association
- Australian College of Educators
- University of Wollongong
- University of Wollongong Alumni
- Australian Council of Educational Leaders
- The Dean of the Faculty will appoint the Director of the Centre
who will be responsible for the day to day operational matters
of the Centre.
- The Director will act as the Executive Officer of the Advisory
Committee.
