The Australian Centre for Educational Leadership welcomes you to the July Professional Learning Conference for Educational Leadership subjects in Spring Semester 2008.
Professional Learning Conferences, an innovative approach
PLCs, which run at the beginning of each semester, provide students with motivating face-to-face interaction while still allowing course completion from a distance. They give busy educators the chance to interact with staff and students, receive guidance for the coming semester, and attend library and other information sessions.
Who should attend
Students enrolled in the Flexible delivery program are required to attend while students at too great a distance can enrol in the Distance only program. In addition, there will be additional Saturday/Sunday schools held at UOW later in the semester, typically two for each subject.

What to bring
For each subject you are enrolled in you are required to bring the relevant set text, subject outline and reader(s).
All enrolled students will be sent a subject outline. Flexible delivery students can purchase their readings by accessing the University homepage and following the links to the Bookshop. Alternatively, orders can be arranged by contacting Denise Gracie on 02 4221 8186. Distance students will be sent their reader(s) by Debbie McGavin (Student Service Centre), Ph: +612 4221 4678, email dmcgavin@uow.edu.au.
Students who have not yet purchased readers can do so from the University Bookshop. – refer link for trading hours http://unishop.uow.edu.au/
Parking
Short-term Carpark Parking Station is available on Level E of the Multi-storey Carpark (near Bldg 17) or in Pay & Display ticket area - South Western Carpark where access is from the Western entrance on Northfields Avenue.
