Welcome to the Adult Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training @ 21st Century suite of courses. This new suite of programs is designed to respond to the emerging importance of adult education, tertiary and VET and provides programs for those wanting improve their current practice and employment opportunities or to qualify as professionals in any of these areas.

Purpose of Program
Graduate Certificate is designed to assist a broad range of practitioners in vocational educational training settings such as TAFE, industry training, VET in Schools and professional or community organisations involved in vocational education and training. The VET program offers opportunities for students to develop innovations in teaching and learning, leadership and management in VET and using new technologies of learning in VET.

Purpose of Program
The Master of Education program is an introductory higher degree for professional educators and candidates interested in working on issues and questions in VET. This program is of particular relevance to participants who are either currently aspiring to leading and managing in VET. This includes managers of VET in TAFE, registered training organizations, industrial training organisations, training advisory boards and other VET providers. This program in combination with the subjects from the educational leadership would suit aspiring and current heads of schools and associate Institute directors in TAFE.

This program in combination with the subjects from the educational leadership would suit aspiring and current co-ordinators, organisers and directors of adult, further and community programs.

Doctor Of Education: Adult Education, Higher Education & VET
Entry :
- An appropriate Masters degree with completed at credit level or better or completion of a bachelors degree with Honours Class II or higher.
- Professional experience (minimum 3 years)
Duration of Program: 3 years full time
Purpose of Program: The Doctor of Education is a designed to enable students to conduct a research project related to their practice. The programs enable students to conduct a research in an area of interest related to their work. The research is generally designed to improve practice and assist to develop innovative responses to contemporary issues in adult education, higher education and VET. The Doctor of Education degree consists of one-third course work component and two-thirds research/thesis component.
Fees: The program is a research degree under the Research training Scheme and does not attract domestic fees. For international students fees are $(AUS) 6,900.
