This exciting workshop is proudly hosted by the Faculty of Education.

Join Dr Christine Richmond on the 13th March, for her dynamic 2 1/2 hour workshop where you will learn that the characteristics of how all children include such things as individually different capacities for demonstrating delightfulness, stubbornness, excitement, moodiness, thoughtfulness, intelligence, neediness and learning style preferences.

Changing the culture of a toxic class to that of a learning team takes intentional, inspired work. You are the teacher for the task! There is nothing as rewarding as the sense of accomplishment that you will experience when previously disenfranchised, unhappy and reluctant students transform into eager learners under your watch. This workshop will inspire you on the path to change.

Who is Christine Richmond ?

Dr Richmond is well known in Australian education circles through her work in schools concerning student management and as a speaker at regional, state, national and international conferences. Teachers are attracted to her pragmatic, minimalist approach because it provides a clear pathway through the complex maze of behaviour management advice that is currently available. Dr Richmond’s information relieves teachers of the anxiety that is provoked when they are overwhelmed by the management task in a context of escalating demand and accountability for student learning. The time and energy thus saved can therefore be used more profitably for effective planning and teaching.
