Pictured is the Dean of Education Professor Barry Harper and Richard Wylie (NSW Higher Education Manager, Apple) launching the Faculty's new Laptop program.

The Faculty of Education, Apple and Mac1 have partnered to provide a cost effective way of purchasing Apple Macbook Laptops for use in all courses offered by the Faculty. Apple hardware and software is preferred by the Faculty as many of our local schools have adopted the Apple platform and its wide range of creative and innovative educational products. Subjects in the Faculty that focus on IT in education will continue to use Apple desktop lab machines. However, the purchase of Apple Macbooks through the laptop program will enable individual students to have a personal and mobile technology continually at their fingertips.
