The South Coast branch of ALEA (Australian Literacy Educators Association) awarded Rachel Sharp (a third year Bachelor of Teaching student) an award for excellence in her undergraduate language and literacy subjects. This award entitles her to two years membership to the association and free attendance at south coast professional learning workshops. She was presented the award by Maree Shirlaw from Shellharbour DET and Di Hansford the state president of ALEA.
