PDHPE teachers at development workshop

PDHPE professional development workshop

This professional development workshop is one of many that Paul Webb and Phil Pearson have conducted for practicing PDHPE teachers in preparation for the implementation of the year 7-10 syllabus in 2005-6. This recent one focused on practical application of game sense pedagogy. A number of similar workshops involving theory, practical and programming sessions have been conducted around the state (Dubbo, Lismore, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong) for teachers in DET, Catholic and Independent school systems with support from the University of Wollongong and the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER).
