Checking Your Janison Login Details

This login analysis tool may save you from a lot of wasted enquiries.

We all enter Janison by providing our email username (eg abc123) and password on a login page. If you do not know your password click here.

If you are still unable to get in? (Check if you have access to a Janison site)

This tool will allow you to:

1. See whether the username (Janison ID) you are entering is a name that does exist in the UOW email system; if the name you entered is in the system, you'll see 'Valid username'.
2. See whether the person with that username is registered in any Janison subject sites, and in which ones.

Once you have this information you will be much better equipped to pursue your enquiries, either with your lecturer or with janison_support@uow.edu.au

Passwords expire after 190 days and then can't be used to gain entry. You should change your password before this occurs. You will be sent several email messages to your UOW email account warning you when your password is about to expire.
