Access to the DET Portal  and Teaching and Learning Exchange(TaLe)

TaLe , a part of the DET portal, is a valuable online environment for all practicing teachers currently teaching in NSW schools.

This website provides practicing teachers access to information and a huge range of teaching materials and online resources.

In a collaborative effort between the DET and the Faculty of Education we have been able to establish similar access for all faculty staff and also students while undertaking their teacher training.

For Education students to access TaLe – please follow the registration process below.

1. Download the Word document from here
2. Complete the form using your details
3. Email this completed document to ssc@uow.edu.au using your UOW email account.  Please make sure that the subject of the email is one of the following (choose your Program group):

TALE-GDE
TALE-PE
TALE-PRIMARY
TALE-EC/EY
TALE-PG

On receipt of your completed registration form it will be forwarded to the DET for processing.

The DET will then email you with your username and password (Different from your UOW account).

This guest account will then be active for 12 months.
