Library Fund
The Library Fund supports the continued growth and development of collections and resources in the University Library. These collections of books, online learning resources and facilities underpin the University’s vision for excellence in learning, teaching and research and provide a valuable resource for the local community.
The University Library provides access to half a million books, over 50,000 journal titles, 200,000 journal volumes, 290 databases (online collections of journal articles) and 4,000 e-books, across a number of locations.
Facilities range from small group study spaces to comfortable reading areas; computer laboratories to music and viewing equipment.
The University Library has benefited from significant philanthropic support, including in-kind gifts, donations of cash and bequests. Gifts to the University Library have helped to develop specific areas of the collection, purchase new equipment, and undertake specific projects such as digitizing archival material.
