Dementia friendly solar powered home

A team of students from UOW and TAFE NSW Illawarra are set to take on the world in a new sustainable energy Olympics challenge.

The team, which also includes students from UOW’s Dubai campus, has reached the finals of the Solar Decathlon Middle East competition that is to be held in Dubai in 2018. Twenty-two teams from around the world will compete in this competition. READ MORE



Mental Recovery

The Recovery Camp is an Australian-first therapeutic recreation program for people with a lived experience of severe mental illness.

For future health professionals, including nursing, psychology, dietetics, and exercise physiology students, who also participate in Recovery Camp it is an immersive, experiential, clinical learning experience that focuses on strengths not illness.
