A monetary or in-kind donation to UOW can help provide vital resources to support ground-breaking research, promote academic excellence and improve the University environment.
Donations to support UOW can be made at anytime, or through our appeals. Many of our donors have a passion for a particular area of research, wish to support their former faculty or a student studying the course they graduated from or want to make sure students and academics have all the resources they need to realise their potential and make a contribution to the community.
MONETARY DONATIONS
Monetary donations can be made online through the secure online donations page. Or you can contact us at donations@uow.edu.au or on (02) 4221 5131.
Donations can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Card accepted) or in cash, cheque or money order (made payable to the University of Wollongong). All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible, with 100% of your gift assigned to the project you choose to support.
IN-KIND DONATIONS
In-kind donations can include tangible gifts such as prizes recognising high achieving students, resources for specialised research, books for the student bookstore, equipment to assist disabled or disadvantaged students, such as laptops, or body donation to the UOW Medical School. Other gifts can include services conducted free of charge; gifts of shares or real estate.

DONATIONS IN-MEMORIAM
What better way to treasure the memory of your loved one than with a gift supporting excellence, creativity, mutual respect, honesty, tolerance, freedom of opinion and diversity of cultures, ideas and peoples – the values of UOW.
In-memoriam donations allow you to remember and recognise the values and achievements of your loved one by establishing a fund in their memory, which family and friends can donate to in lieu of flowers at their funeral. You can select the area of vital research or academic endeavour gifts will support. You may even like to establish a scholarship named in memory of your loved one or donate a prize to support students in a faculty they supported or were involved with.
UOW has been the fortunate recipient of a number of in-memoriam donations, including the Robert East Memoriam and the Marie Lewis Award. Gifts in memory of these compassionate individuals are helping to support vital research into cures for common cancers and prizes to recognise the educational achievements of our talented students.
